<B>Hen and Chick Mechanical Bank - White</B></I> made by J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, CT, circa: 1901. A slot in front of the hen holds the coin. Raise the lever and the hen moves her head as though calling for the chick. The chick emerges from under her and pecks the coin into the bank.
