On sale is a rare "Hematite Temple Cylinder Seal" circa 2,500B.C. to 2,000B.C. This incredible seal is from our private collection and its original provenance is from northern Syria. Featured is black hematite stone carved cylinder with a bored hole and engravings. The rolled out seal reveals a ceremonial scene with two figures. One is standing in front of a sacred staff and the other figure is paying homage to a mirrored deity. This cylinder seal is in very good condition and wearable.
