On sale is a very rare "Hematite Cylinder Seal" circa 2,200B.C. to 2,000B.C. Featured is black hematite stone carved cylinder with a bored hole. The rolled out seal reveals a ceremonial spear-like staff topped with the crescent moon. There is a stellar, "Sun or Star" symbol with two projecting arm-like rays directly above an altar or the doors of a temple. There are two exquisitely carved figures paying homage to the deity. This stamp seal is in superb condition and wearable.
