Hellraiser (1987) - Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) Annotated Preproduction Script + More.
A wonderful original set of items used by Ashley Laurence in the production of the Clive Barker directed supernatural horror film 'Hellraiser' (1987), which plot involves a mystical puzzle box that summons the Cenobites, a group of extra-dimensional, sadomasochistic beings who cannot differentiate between pain and pleasure. The leader of the Cenobites is portrayed by Doug Bradley, and identified in the sequels as "Pinhead".
The lot consists of..
--An original preproduction studio bound and bradded, 96-multi-color revision page script dated 28/7/86 and annotated by Laurence for her "Kirsty" audition and early production, handwritten "Ashley" on the upper right cover.
--A historical typed letter in the genesis of Hellraiser and Ashley Laurence's part in it on New World 8.5 x 11 in. letterhead stationery from producer Christopher Figg, thanking Laurence for her recent visit, recommending she meet with the Executive Producer and including the handwritten note, "Please read for Kirsty."
--A box of Hellraiser-themed marshmallow peeps, hand painted by actress Laurence, who is also a darkly whimsical fine art painter. Exhibiting age, production wear and use.
--A "Kirsty" bracelet from production.
