Actress (1906–1965) best remembered as Mina in the film Dracula with Belá Lugosi, who ironically did not want the part originally. Rare vintage pearl-finish 8 x 10 double weight photo by White Studio, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “To Saul, Best wishes, Helen Chandler.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of November 20, 1935, the date the signature was acquired. In fine condition, with a bit of trivial surface rubbing and a small horizontal crease to right edge. Chandler is considered quite uncommon in signed photos.
