Nazi Reichsführer (1900–1945) who controlled the SS and the Gestapo and who was one of the most vocal and virulent anti-Semites of the Third Reich. He committed suicide with a cyanide capsule while awaiting trial at Nuremberg. War-dated DS, in German, signed “H. Himmler,” two pages both sides, 8.25 x 11.75, September 27, 1943. Untranslated personnel report regarding Lt. Colonel Otto Wagenknecht, spelling out his qualifications, previous ranks, education, police background, and service in the Wafen-SS, approved by Himmler on the first page. Also initialed at the bottom by Otto Meissner. In very good condition, with expected stamps and notations, punch holes to left edge, uniform toning, and scattered light toning and soiling.
