Czech cellist (1855–1931) who was appointed court cellist to Kaiser Wilhelm I in 1886. Original 4 x 6.25 cabinet photo by Albert Meyer of Berlin, signed and inscribed in black ink in German in the lower border and dated 1903, and signed again on the image, “Heinrich, Weisbaden 1903.” In fine condition, with a bit of light contrast to signature in lower border, some light toning to border, and pencil notations on reverse.
