Heinlein Ts Pages The Man Who Sold the Moon
Robert Heinlein. Original Typescript Pages from The Man Who Sold the Moon. An interesting collection of four typescript 8.5" x 11" pages including a ribbon copy of the title page of The Man Who Sold the Moon and Other Stories, a random carbon copy page from "The Roads Must Roll" (typed on the verso of printed "Instructions for Precinct Workers"), and ribbon copies of the first and last pages of "Life-Line". There are several hand-written corrections, presumably in the author's hand. The pages are toned with a few chips along the margins. The page from "The Roads Must Roll" must have been especially problematic for Heinlein as it looks like it's been waded up and then smoothed out again. Included is a page of autograph notes in pencil (presumably by Heinlein) laying out the word count for each short story that comprises The Man Who Sold the Moon. The notes are written on the verso of Shasta Publishers announcement of L. Ron Hubbard's Slaves of Sleep. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
