<B>Hayes & Wheeler Silk Ribbon,</B></I> 6.75" x 1.75". Black type announcing a "First Presidential Vote" is imprinted on white silk. A few folds, tape stains on either end, and fraying. Very good condition. This ribbon comes from the hotly contested and historic 1876 race between New York Democrat Samuel Tilden and Ohio Republican Rutherford Hayes.
