<B>Hawaii Flag Carried to the Moon on Apollo 10!</B></I> A 6" x 4" Hawaii state flag has been affixed to an 8" x 11" card captioned "<I>This flag traveled on Apollo X with the first LM to the moon/ Apollo X/ May 18-26, 1969/ Stafford Young Cernan.</B></I>" Head portraits of the three astronauts illustrated beneath their names are signed "<I>Thomas P. Stafford,</B></I>" "<I>John Young,</B></I>" and "<I>Gene Cernan.</B></I>" The upper loops of Cernan's "<I>G</B></I>" and "<I>C</B></I>" are faded. The Apollo 10 logo is depicted in each lower corner. Framed to 9.25" x 12.25". The LM (Lunar Module) was taken to within 10 miles of the lunar surface. With all its mission objectives achieved, Apollo 10, with this flag aboard, set the stage for the first manned moon landing just two months later. Accompanied by a signed statement by Garino indicating that Cernan flew this flag upon his request, Hawaii being his home state. <I>From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino.
