                    Hawaii 1883 Quarter Dollar. 1883. King Kalakaua I. PCGS graded Mint State 65. <b>A second handsome Quarter Dollar struck for the Kingdom of Hawaii, this nearly on a par with the 66-quality coin though having more developed dusky toning on both sides. The luster carries the same glinting "cartwheel spin" to it. The Kingdom's official motto, which on the coin appears as UA MAU KE EA O KA AINA I KA PONO translates loosely into "The life of the land is preserved in righteousness."
