<td width="100%">
Wash basin set, complete with pitcher, bowl, covered soap dish with insert and toothbrush holder in the old Moss Rose pattern by Charles Field Haviland. This set dates around 1850s before Charles Field Haviland became a silent partner and used the backmark CFH/GDM. It is marked CFH only with the black donut of Charles Field Haviland, Limoges as the decorating mark. The pitcher and bowl are in very good condition, just a wearing on the gold, no chips or cracks. The soap dish does have a small chip on the inside rim of the lid but isn't really noticeable, especially when the lid is on and the toothbrush holder has a chip on the rim. The pitcher is 12" high, bowl is 15" wide x 5" high, soup dish is 5.25" x 4" x 3.5" high and the toothbrush holder is 4.5" high by 2.75" wide. Very few of these sets by Haviland have ever survived.
