<B>Haunt of Fear #15 (#1) Gaines File pedigree 3/11 (EC, 1950) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> One of the first of EC's New Trend issues that shook up the comic world forever in 1950, this one's considered the hardest of EC's horror premiere issues to find, rating a "scarce" by Overstreet. That makes the Gaines File Copy even more stunning. Johnny Craig did the cover and also provided interior art, along with Harvey Kurtzman and Wally Wood. Overstreet 2007 NM- 9.2 value = $4,600.
