This pretty example from the collection of Monty Farmer is absolutely problem-free, with ample crispness, clear signatures, and great eye appeal. Since this note was at the bottom of a sheet it has a broad bottom margin that shows the printing guide line on the back, but the top margin is a trifle tight. This bank, chartered just 9 days after the NB of Commerce of Hattiesburg that held the previous charter number, closed in 1908 and printed only Brown Backs. The current census numbers just three notes, and this one is the first to appear on the market since this note sold in 1996. An outstanding Mississippi rarity that will likely inspire heated competition among bidders. Fine-Very Fine. (5,000-9,000 )

Important notice: Heritage usually auctions material at the rate of 200-250 lots per hour.
