-Navy ground w/floral cartouche.
-ornate gilt work all over.
-shank seems too thin for top (could have been replaced) or top is heavier than most.
-securely mounted.
-no chips, breaks, cracks.
-10 inch overall length/height.

[I use a scanner to capture images so can not get right at the bottom.
I see what looks like the bottom part of a flower (in nature) where individual leaves or petals curve up to form a cup like bottom cap. The
long pin goes thru the middle of these leaves. I see what looks like old paint, some shiny bright in gold and in silver. I think the silver may be solder to hold metal to metal. Then I think what is the old paint has worn over time. It seems like the china part may have plaster or something inside that may have originally held it all together and the solder was a repair? replacing the pin? (which seems light or flexible. This came from an auction/estate sale of a very old lady in Northern Michigan, right out of the trunk -- several were in the trunk as well as some empty heads and empty
pins/shanks.]
