Truman inscribes in black ink beneath the photo frontispiece, ''Kindest Regards to Roland Carr / Harry Truman''. Also signed and inscribed by author William Hillman, ''To Roland Carr / With Kindest Regards / Bill Hillman / Washington, D.C. / 1953''. 253pp. book is bound in two-toned cloth boards with gilt lettering, measuring 8'' x 11''. Original dustjacket with $5.00 price intact. Paperclip remnants to a few pages, book is near fine. Dustjacket has chips to top edge and spine, very good.
