Official Inaugural Program for the 20 January 1949 ceremonies, the first to be televised. Contents include biographies of President Harry Truman and Vice President Alben Barkley. The front and back covers feature the new Presidential Seal design which made its debut during this inauguration. The 72pp. program, measuring 8.25'' x 11.25'', includes a schedule of ceremonies, a line-up of the inaugural parade and list of inaugural week events. Some fading and chipping to cover. Very good condition.
