TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Jackson County Court letterhead, September 19, 1930. Letter to John W. Synder, in part: “After what seems an interminable wait I have our problem completed and I am sending you a complete typewritten copy of the whole thing. It seems that our executive officer has been moved to Little Rock, Ark., which may be more convenient for you but decidedly inconvenient for me. I am also enclosing you a copy of the Roster of the Regiment which was sent to me from St. Louis. I thought maybe it might be of interest to you.” Some small edge tears, trivial creasing, and light rusty paperclip marks to top and bottom edges, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by the aforementioned roster. Future Secretary of the Treasury Snyder befriended Truman two years earlier when the pair served together in the US Army Reserves after World War I.
