A signed appointment of a fellow Missourian, Clark Clifford as Special Counsel to the President. Clifford was a very successful advisor to Truman, Kennedy, Johnson and Carter, and even served as secretary of defense for Johnson. Also signed by Dean Acheson as acting secretary of state. In fine condition, with an appealing display presence.
