Harry Houdini (March 24, 1874 – October 31, 1926). Signed 8 ½ X 11 1913 Houdini Stationery. Signed in black ink that has faded over time and inscribed, “Love Laughs at Locksmiths So Does” and dated: ‘August 8-1920.’ Harry Houdini's grand illusions and daring, spectacular escape acts made him one of the most famous magicians of all time. Fascinated with magic from a young age, Harry Houdini began performing and drew attention for his daring feats of escape. In 1893, he married Wilhelmina Rahner, who became his onstage partner as well. Houdini continued performing escape acts until his death, on October 31, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan.
