Baseball Hall of Famer (1887-1974). Between 1910 and 1915, he teamed with Tris Speaker and Duffy Lewis to form one of the finest outfield trios in baseball history. ALS, one page, 6 x 9, February 6, 1971. Letter of thanks after being elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. In part, “Thanks for your nice letter of congratulations. Glad to hear you figure to attend the ceremonies at Cooperstown. I’ll be there if I am able with my gang.” In fine condition.
