American singer, pianist, Tin Pan Alley composer, and booking agent (1879–1951). AMQS on an off-white 9.5 x 4.5 sheet of music manuscript paper. Armstrong pens five bars of music and lyrics to ‘Sweet Adeline,’ signed at the bottom, “Composed by Harry Armstrong.” In very good to fine condition, with two vertical folds passing through single letters of signature and a uniform shade of toning.
