Harrison Begay Silk Screen,''Navajo Feather Dancer''. Today Harrison Begay is rightly referred to as the patriarch of twentieth century Navajo art. Begay began his education at the Fort Wingate Indian School in New Mexico in 1927 and completed his studies at the Santa Fe Indian School in 1939, taking art lessons from Dorothy Dunn. After graduation, Harrison Begay was granted an Indian Commission scholarship which enabled him to attend Black Mountain College in 1940 and 1941. He then served in the United States Army for a period of three years. Measures 12x16. Today Harrison Begay is rightly referred to as the patriarch of twentieth century Navaho art. *** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. Any Bidder that has never purchased from us, may be asked for credit card information prior to Approval To Bid.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.

All shipping is at the buyers expense, and will be determined after each auction, based on actual shipping charges to designated shipping address, supplied by the buyer.
