Harpers Ferry Model 1835 musket, re-converted back to flintlock, .69 cal., 42” barrel, sling swivels, full length wood stock, lockplate and barrel both dated 1840. This gun is in overall good condition showing a dark patina on metal surfaces, pinprick pitting around the firing area, good action and markings, dark bore with a slight barrel bulge approx. 7-1/2” from the muzzle; overall good wood with scattered mars, dings and scratches from carry and storage; iron ramrod retained, steel butt plate with “US” marking on top.
