Two Christmas gift tags, both approximately 4 x 2, both filled out and signed by Lloyd, both to his good friend, Roy ‘Pudge’ Brooks. Brooks (1901-1976) acted in many early 1920s comedy shorts with Lloyd, usually as Lloyd's love interest rival. He then retired, moved onto Lloyd's estate, and for the next 30 years served as Lloyd's secretary, chauffeur, and bodyguard. One of the gift tags from 1934 reads, “Pudge, Still my best pal—Harold,” and one from 1935 reads, “Merry Xmas Pudge, Your still the best Pal—Harold.” Both tags are affixed to a 9.75 x 14.5 scrapbook page with three photos of Brooks, a couple of newspaper articles, and a photo on the reverse of Lloyd and Brooks. Tags are in fine condition, scrapbook page rates overall very good.
