Featured in this lot is these original photographs from American photographer Harmon Percy Marble born in 1870 and died in 1945. There are four original photographs in this collection. The first is is a photograph of Hopi dancers these dances would have been forbidden to attend for Anglo-Americans. The second photograph is from 1911 of the Navajo National Monument in Arizona and is a view of the eastern half of Kiet Siel which is the largest cliff dwelling ruin in Arizona. The third photograph is from 1911 of a Sioux woman wearing a full length breastplate with sections of large beads and hairpipe bones throughout. The last doesn't come with information on the photograph but is a photograph of a Native American man holding a rope coiled up in his hand. The condition of this collection of original photographs is well preserved behind protective sleeves with some wear to the photographs consistent with age. The measurements of these photographs is 5" x 7".
