19 3/8" by 23". Hans P. Luetcke (1925 - 2007) was active/lived in California, Arizona / Germany. Hans Luetcke is known for Western scene painting-cowboys. Hans Luetcke was born in Cologne, Germany in 1925, and emigrated to the United States in 1957. After a brief stay on the East Coast, he moved to Pacific Palisades, California and remained there for many years. His last studio is in Sedona, Arizona. Luetcke studied for eight semesters at the Werkkunstschule Wuppertal, Germany, and made many trips to Switzerland, Belgium, France, Italy and Sicily for art studies. After arriving in the U.S., he made extensive studies of the American Indian in various States best known for Indian background. His research has taken him to Newfoundland as well as Mexico.
