Hans Kubicek is mainly known for his photographs of Austrian landscape areas, mountain life or architecture. In the sixties, Hans Kubicek has created commissional work for the archives and photo sections of the Steyr-Daimler-Puch plants and the Saurerwerke. At the same time, he has never disregarded artistic, romantic painterly aspects in his photographs. The present photographs depict a panorama with a hiker, who is standing at cross-roads between two footprints in the snow. On the second photograph is a snow-covered mountain landscape with a chapel in the background, in the foreground a wooden tripod signpost with traces of a snow storm. The third photograph offers the view of a snowy mountain landscape with a wooden house, a hiking rail in the foreground and some poles and ropes of a supply cable car. In addition traces of skiers in the snow.

The photograph with the poles of the supply cable cars is inscribed verso handwritten in ballpen ‘”Paradies im Winter“, Hans Kubicek‘, 3 additional stamps 8‘, ‘Foto Sektion Steyr-Daimler-Puch Werke Wien‘ and ‘Premfoto Prelouc, CSSR Czechoslovakia‘ with enclosed handwritten numberings in pencil. The three photographs are in very good condition with minimal traces of wear and age light slight scratches and handling creases. The corners are slightly kinked. The panorama photograph displays two somewhat stronger folds in the upper third, the photograph with the signpost in the lower left corner.
