In the sixties, Hans Kubicek has created commissional work for the archives and photo sections of the Steyr-Daimler-Puch plants and the Saurerwerke. Within the framework of these works, he has photographed Austrian landscape areas, mountain life or architecture. At the same time, he has never disregarded artistic, romantic painterly aspects in his photographs. The photographs depict a snowy mountain landscape, with two hikers and their hiking poles during a break. The second smaller photograph shows a still life with mountain gear, placed at a stream bank.



Both photographs are in good condition with minimal traces of wear and age. The corners are slightly bumped. The larger photograph has a tear on the upper right rim of ca. 0.2 cm length. The smaller photograph shows minor traces of glue in the left area. The dimensions are 29.9 x 39.8 cm and 19 x 24.2 cm. (tm)
