German conductor (1888–1965) best known for his performances of Richard Wagner, Anton Bruckner, and Richard Strauss. Untranslated ANS in German on the back of a 4.25 x 5.75 postcard, no date but postmarked March 21, 1938. In very good condition, with mild toning, scattered soiling and edge wear, and address information showing through from reverse.
