Published in London by BT Batsford Ltd, 94, High Holborn in 1930. The edition for the British Empire and the United States of America is limited to 125 copies. All rights of this work are the property of Anton Schroll & Co who are publishers of the German Edition. Printed in Austria. Plate #4 "Witches Preparing for Their Sabbath": Three young witches sit on the ground beside a boiling cauldron; near them are cats and a he-goat on whose back a child is climbing. An old witch and a young one who presses one of the cats between her knees are just starting to fly. The original was drawn in pen in Indian ink on a brown ground and heightened with white. Dated 1514; of the monogram beneath the date part only is preserved.
