This harness has a close helmet with a 2-piece riveted skull with rolled roped comb. There is a hook on the bevor and a post with a hole on the skull. The ventail is latched with a spring loaded button. There are round piercings with decorative lines engraved on the sides of the skull and there are round piercings with circles engraved around the holes with lines connecting them on the right side of the ventail. The pauldrons and tassets have decorative brass floral rivets. The left pauldron has a neck guard. There are creased rondels. The finger gauntlets are fully articulated and the sabatons are plain with a ridge at the top. The knee cops are winged. There is a cod piece which has a pin that fits through a hole for attachment. With a cup hilt rapier having a 43 inch blade, pierced and chased cup, straight quillons that are pierced on the ends and open work on the knuckle guard and pommel. This suit stands approximately 6 feet tall x 22 inches wide x 24 inches deep and is mounted on a black painted wooden base that measures 12 inches tall x 18 inches wide x 18 1/4 inches deep. Very good, there are patches of minor pitting overall with some scattered minor dings and dents. All components appear to be matching. The rapier is also very good.
