<B>Vice President Hannibal Hamlin Autograph Letter Signed</B></I> “<I>H Hamlin</B></I>”. One page, 5” x 8”, Bangor, April 15, 1885, in ink, to Darwin C. Pavey, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Hamlin writes in full: “<I>In reply to your note of the 10th inst. I will say that, as you request, I have looked at the picture of Prest Lincoln, in the April Harper, and I regard the same as a very good likeness.</B></I>” And, certainly Hannibal Hamlin (1809-1891), Lincoln's vice president, should be qualified to judge a Lincoln likeness.
