Legendary and highly influential country and western singer and songwriter (1923–1953). Rare vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Williams in a suit and cowboy hat, signed in blue ink, “Best wishes, Hank Williams,” and also signed in blue ink, “Jimmy Dickens.” Notation on reverse reads, “We went to the opening of his & Audrey’s Western show & Dickens was helping out. June 1951.” Scattered creasing and surface impressions, Williams’s signature a couple of shades light, but still completely legible, and scattered light spotting and wear to finish, otherwise very good condition. Williams is quite elusive in signed photos.
