Hank Williams Signed Country Music Folio
Hank Williams Signed Country Music Folio. A vintage Hank Williams Country Music Folio, signed by the Country music icon in green ink on the cover, along with autographs from Hank Snow (in pencil), Jerry Rivers, and Eddy Wayne (both in black ink). The charismatic honky-tonk pioneer became one of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century; his premature death at age 29 only served to inflame his legendary status. Hank Williams and Hank Snow performed together on July 15, 1951, presumably when these autographs were collected. The inclusion of "WSM" beneath Jerry Rivers' name alludes to the Grand Ole Opry's radio station -- Williams was fired from the show in 1952 and told not to come back until he had sobered up. Included in the folio are photos of Williams with his family and the Drifting Cowboys, as well as sheet music for 20 songs, including: "Move It On Over," "Honky Tonk Blues," "I Saw The Light," among others. The pages display moderate age-toning, and areas of discoloration are present the back cover. The binding is still tight, though there is minor wear to the spine. The 9" x 12" folio is in overall Very Fine condition with each autograph clean and unblemished. A rare piece of the Hank Williams legacy. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.

Shipping: Other (oversized items, group lo (view shipping information)
