<B>Hank Greenberg Personal Archive with Signed Photographs.</B></I> Vast and varied assortment of photos and documents was acquired by a contractor who had done work on the home of Hank's son and was instructed to dispose of the contents of a closet that held these treasures. Thirty-nine individual pieces comprise this lot, with highlights including:<BR><BR>1) Four photos signed by Greenberg. Autographs 10/10. Photos 8x10", ranging from VG to NRMT.<BR>2) Photos signed by George Caster (personalized to Hank, 1946), Dick Wakefield (personalized to Hank), Charles Gehringer (3), Bob Feller, Babe Herman and former Presidential hopeful Gary Hart. All autographs 8/10 or better. Photos average EX-MT.<BR>3) Approximately twenty-five various unsigned photos. Many are wire photos, both Type 1 and Type 2. Best is a terrific Type 1 1935 wire photo (trimmed to 6x8.5") of Greenberg and Lou Gehrig at Yankee Stadium.
