Handwoven Navajo Storm Pattern RUG or Tapestry. The Age is Unknown. It measures 73" Long x 44.5" Wide. The distinctive Storm Pattern, originating around the Crystal Trading Post in the early 1900s, is highly symbolic and features several key elements. A prominent rectangle or square in the center, often representing the hogan (traditional Navajo dwelling), the heart of the world, or a significant body of water. *We as the auction company are not going to get into a protracted discussion about age and authenticity. This collector has no paperwork or COA as to age or authenticity. We are wholly uncomfortable with an argument with qualified and unqualified, alleged authorities. All of that to say; we are not guaranteeing age or authenticity* NATIVE AMERICAN TEXTILES
