Handwoven Navajo Storm Pattern RUG or Tapestry. The Age is Unknown. It measures 73" Long x 44.5" Wide. The distinctive Storm Pattern, originating around the Crystal Trading Post in the early 1900s, is highly symbolic and features several key elements. A prominent rectangle or square in the center, often representing the hogan (traditional Navajo dwelling), the heart of the world, or a significant body of water. *We as the auction company are not going to get into a protracted discussion about age and authenticity.
