This is a stunningly beautiful Austrian vase which has been converted to a lamp in the early 1920's. It stands 22" tall at the top of the harp and it is 11" wide. It is handpainted with a water nymph emerging from a pounding surf. The sea is lush greens and blues and her face is similar to the Gibson girl with trailing brown hair. Her face is exquisite. She is surrounded by flying sea gulls. The lamp and vase are in perfect condition as is it's brass base. It has been rewired for US usage. The lamp is being shown with a 1980's shade by California artist Kathleen Caid to enable you to invision the lamp with a shade. The shade would be available upon request at an additional price.
