first quarter of 20th centurylot of 13. Two spoons, each with image of a Plains Indian wearing an eagle feather warbonnet on handle; two spoons, each with whirling log motif on handle; two spoons, each with feather fletching on handle; six spoons with great Navajo stamping; and one baby spoon, longest spoon 6". For an interesting history of similar souvenir spoons see Kilne 2001.

Kilne's research demonstrated that the Warren Mansfield Company of Portland, Maine created spoons nearly identical to ones made by American Indians. The spoon with a whirling log on the handle and a Plains Indian holding a lance is is one of these spoons, image in her book page 63.
