Handmade in Russia, the set consists of traditional wooden matryoshkas figurines which separate, top from bottom, to reveal a smaller figure of the same sort inside, which has, in turn, another figure inside of it, and so on. Decoupage & lacquer over linden tree wood. 6 1/2" H tallest figure.Â
