Harrison Young screen-used ''Saving Private Ryan'' handkerchief. Young stars in the acclaimed war film as the elderly version of Private James Ryan in the scenes set in present day; Matt Damon plays the young Private Ryan in the bulk of the movie, set in WWII. Handkerchief is used by Young to dab his eyes at the graves of his fellow soldiers. White handkerchief is folded and pinned closed with a purple and white cloth pin. Measures 4'' x 4.5''. Pin measures 1.5'' x 0.5''. Light soiling to kerchief, else near fine. Pin shows rubbing to the ribbon and is missing one of two metal closures. A sentimental item from one of the greatest war films of all time.
