Replaced socket; rewired.<BR><BR>Philip Handel was best known for the art glass lamps that he produced in Meriden, Connecticut at the turn of the century. In Robert DeFalco&#39;s book, <I>Metal Overlays by Handel</I>, he states: &#34;Handel conceived and produced lamps with the idea that the fixture itself was sculpture and its luminescence fine art.
