This is a dynamic and exciting Bakhtiari with bold and brightly colored composition. These Rugs are prized for their nomadic authenticity. Bakhtiari Rugs are named after the Bakhtiari tribes, which is one of the oldest, most noble and well known Persian tribes. This large migratory tribe resides in the west central part of Iran. Different sub-tribes of Bakhtiaris produce Rugs with their own distinctive design and personality. Samane-Bakhtiari is among the finest most artistic and have a compact weaves. These Bakhtiaris are sometimes referred to as Bibi-Baft basically meaning woven by woman of the household.
