Hand-Painted United States "Currency" Facsimiles by Van Worth Lot of nine different facsimilies, each painted (to varying degrees) on a black photocopy of a different piece of US currency as reproduced on a piece of clear plastic (7x3"). Some of the plastics are, in turn, is attached to a photocopy of the LA Times front page (8x10) whose headline recounts a space event. Included in the lot is a $2/$5 error note on a blank sheet of 8x10" paper (No. 44/70) with a negative embossed authentication seal at the lower right, a $100 note on a similar embossed blank sheet (No. 7/70), a $10 note (No. 98/131) on a GT-4 front page, a $20 note (No. 99/131) on a GT-6 front page, a $20 note (No. 91/131) on a MR-3 front page, a $20 note (No. 84/131) on a Sputnik front page, a $100 note (87/131) on a 1959 front page announcing a Russian lunar launch, a $100 note (No. 93/131) on a MA-6 front page, and a $100 note (No. 103/131) on an Apollo 11 front page. These are extremely rare pieces of art that would be almost impossible to find other than by chance.
