This very colorful porcelain chocolate pot from the late 1920s early 1930s is marked: TT in Crossed Diamonds in green. This piece has the green mark, according to Kovels New Dictionary of Marks, page 54-F of Takito,Japan 1880-1948. The majority of the marks are found in 3 different colors: green, blue, or magenta. Colors indicate the quality of porcelain used: green for first grade porcelain, blue for second grade, and magenta for third grade.<BR>This delicately hand painted scene of a boy fishing with an elder, a maiden in a boat and people crossing a bridge, one on horseback, and the matching lid are exquisitely done. In very good + condition it measures; 9 1/2 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches spout to handle by 3 1/4 inches, and 5 inches across the base.
