His fat stomach, which protrudes from the robes he wears, symbolizes the largeness of his soul. This lovely smiling Buddha is extremely big ear lobes, which are counted as the symbol of blessing. The Laughing Buddha (also known as Maitreya) is always associated with wealth and prosperity. A very popular symbol of abundance, the Laughing Buddha is a symbol of happiness, good tidings, affluence and of course, endless wealth. With a large cash in one hand and an auspicious Buddha's Hand in the other hand, the Laughing Buddha of Wealth is seen relaxing on a Money Sack, on which a Money Toad/ Crazy Frog is resting. A Money Bat is flying by holding a string of cash in its mouth.
