<B>Hamlet (Universal, 1948).</B></I> British Quad (30" X 40"). Laurence Olivier became the first person to direct himself to a Best Actor Oscar in this stripped-down version of Shakespeare's famous tragedy. This was also the first non-American film to win Best Picture. This British Quad has light edge and fold wear, and a small edge tear in the lower left corner. The poster has been mounted on linen to stabilize it, but no restoration has been done. It displays very well, with marvelous artwork of Olivier. <I>From the collection of Jim Ashton</B></I>.
