English actor (1877-1962) who appeared in over 100 films, including Gaslight, Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, Platinum Blonde, and Here Comes Mr. Jordan. Playbill from the Broadhurst Theatre’s 1944 presentation of Ten Little Indians, 6.5 x 9, 28 pages, signed on the front cover in fountain pen by Halliwell Hobbes, Estelle Winwood, Pat O’Malley, Michael Whalen, and Beverly Roberts. In fine condition, with a brush to Winwood’s signature and expected handling wear. This particular production was notable as being the first time ever an Agatha Christie play was staged in the United States.
