Hall patent flintlock rifle by Harpers Ferry, 3rd type, dated 1838 in good to very good original condition in .52 caliber. This rifle shows considerable traces of original brown drifting to a grayish patina with good markings, sharp edges and all original flintlock parts. The stock shows some storage dings, mars, scratches and oil staining consistent with military storage and use. There are some small losses along the ramrod channel. The breech shows a small die stamped mark F 62. A correct style ramrod is included. Refer Flayderman 9A-250. Est.: $1,400-$2,800.
