Unposted postcard depicting Halifax Harbour, published by the Valentine & Sons Publishing Co. of Montreal, captioned at the top: "Halifax Harbour, N.S. (one of the finest in the world).” Unpostmarked but reverse bears an undated letter in ink, in part: “They are bringing victims in from the ‘Titanic’ day after day. I went to the cemetery yesterday & saw some of the graves.” In fine condition, with light corner tip dings. Most recovered victims of the Titanic were unloaded at Coal or Flagship Wharf on the Halifax waterfront, and subsequently buried in three different Halifax cemeteries. A grim note from a difficult time.
